Nature3D PLA Wood is a 3d printing material mainly made of PLA and wood flour, which is suitable for most 3d printers.
The problem of plugging nozzle caused by wood powder expansion was solved by formula adjustment and process control. Sand the print object with fine sandpaper or change the print temperature to get a feel and smell similar to solid wood.

- Can print at high speed
- biodegradable
General Printing Guide *
Nozzle size:≥ 0.4mm | Layer height: ≥ 0.2mm | Printing temp: ±180~220℃ |
Print speed: 40~60mm/s | Retraction:± 5mm | Hot bed:±0-60°C |
Fan speed: 50-100% | Print flow: ±104% | Length:±330m |
*) The Settings shown above are intended to guide you in finding the best print Settings. These ranges should work for most printers, but feel free to experiment outside these ranges.
Cleaning nozzle
When printing with filled/composite materials, it is recommended to clean the nozzle immediately after printing and feed PLA material 15-20cm long into the nozzle. This will ensure that any potential caulk flows out of the nozzle. Best useLuminous, because extremely hard particles in the material are more likely to scrape residual waste from the nozzle.
Abradability
Note that PLA Wood contains a relatively high concentration of wood powder, which is abrasive. In general, these wood powders will accelerate the wear of brass nozzles much faster than unfilled materials. We recommend using nozzles made of stainless steel or other hardened alloys.
